I saw an episode of truck u where they painted the inserts. Didn’t pay it a ton of attention bc I didn’t have a JL at the time. Has anyone done this or can you post a how to?

ps. Glad to be a part of this group and driving a new JL

I have done this for my daughter. She wanted mojito accents for her ocean blue.

Steps where to remove inserts, sand with scotch Brite. Clean, spray with a paint prep supplied by paint supplier (adhesion promoter), then spray several coats of paint.

I sprayed then rotated it 90 degrees, and sprayed, rotated, repeat until all angles done.

Thanks. Seems easy enough.
I tried finding the episode but it was one of those side projects they do during the show so it has been difficult to re-locate
Toying with some orange accents
Currently everything is glossy black with an outline of silver on the wheels and Jeep symbols.
