So, as the title says my painted fenders have been stained from mud. We do take the Jeep out and play, but I also enjoy cleaning it. Mall crawler/Rock crawler, best of both worlds. Anyway, cleaning it today I noticed all the fenders were stained where mud had been sitting. I’ve tied wax, body shine, clay bar, white vinegar/water solution, everything. Any idea if this will wear off or do I need to have it wet sanded and buffed? Here is a pic. It’s hard to get one of it and hard to see in picture.

Yes, I have tried everything. It’s hard to get a good pic of it. I circled one of the spots. They look like water spots

Mine did the same thing. I used a little 3M swirl remover on a foam pad, took a little bit of rubbing but it came out. A small orbiting buffer would make short work of it.

You’ve tried clay? It worked for my doors, I had a few hard stains on the clear. Took some elbow grease but i was able to get it out with the clay.

Worst case for me what i did for a section was clay and a megs 3 in 1 wax thing that’s supposed to polish and clean.

Used this with a microfiber cloth. Took it right out.
