So, what if a guy can't spring for over $3,000 to get the hood and sides protected against pin-striping? Seems like every trail I try here in Northern California is overgrown. And my Jeep is already worse for wear. But OMG $3,000+!!?? for PPF.
There must be a cheaper alternative?
Suggestions?

Only thing is I want to maintain the color. I like my Billet Silver Metallic.

Learn to install yourself, you can buy pre-cut kits. I did it to my front grill and its not rocket science but does take some practice to look nice and clean.

I also did a hood blackout decal witch is much a easier install. That will protect most of the hood. All 4 fenders had ppf from the factory.

I wonder if TrailSkinz is going to come up with anything for the JL. I think that would be ideal. Don't know how they'd get them to stay on the aluminum doors, though.
