Paint Protection Film/Ceramic Coat worth it?

I had my 2 door wrapped in February, excluding top and fenders. I had quotes ranging from $2,425 to $5,500. I went with the below shop and film for $3,300.

From my research, the cost variances come from quality of film and extent of installation. The high end shops remove, fenders, top, emblems, etc and truly cover all painted surfaces and essentially hide every edge possible. The middle ground don't go that far, but only with a close look can you notice the edges.

I haven't had mine off road yet so can't speak to trail pin stripe protection. However, for everyday stuff like dirt, mud, bird droppings, etc, cleans up real easy

Wow...$3300 for PPF seems like alot. You could have the whole exterior properly repainted for less than that.

True, then I go off roading and need new paint again, then go off roading again...wash rinse repeat.

I've tried both on previous owned sports cars, 3M or Xpel film is the best protection you can get. Coatings will not stop rock chips or scratches.....protection film will. My current daily interstate driver (Ram truck) has protection film on the hood and still looks showroom new.

Did ceramic coating myself with Cquartz UK 3.0, super easy and love the gloss and ease of cleaning. That’s one underrated thing about ceramic coatings is how easy it is to clean, especially if you’re not worried about it getting swirl marks. I am so I wash the Jeep properly to avoid it but eventually, it will be taken off-road and all bets are off when that happens. Til then, I keep my expensive ass wrangler clean!

Did you put the ceramic coating on the black parts of your vehicle? Say the door handles and the rubicon stickers/vents on the hood? Thanks!
