Hopefully you can negotiate a return on that one... That will require some extensive paint repairs.
(Matching colors etc...)
Wish you luck..

That would be the idea solution. But not sure that is what is going to happen. I sent the dealership some pictures and they said they are waiting to hear back from Chrysler. We will see.

My paint job is actually quite good - as it was on my JK. I can’t believe it was delivered to you this way....that is a major failure by FCA and the dealer. Was it delivered to you at night or in poor lighting? If so that would be deceptive.

Our JK looked good also. It was daylight but it had a lot of tree pollen on it and I told them not to wash it because I didn't want scratches on it from a quick was job being it was black . My fault I guess.

Not your fault - tree pollen is really messy. It’s clearly an FCA problem. Not sure I would want it with $6,400 of repaint on a brand new vehicle....on a more positive note, black should be easy to match and blend by a good painter...

Hard to tell from pictures - where on the vehicle are they? How many miles do you have on it? Considering how much they inspect them before leaving the plant hard to believe and if so bad that it costs $6400 to fix that the factory, the dealer and you didn't notice it before delivery. Earl Scheib can paint that car for $49.95.

Those are really noticeable, did no one see it at the dealership before you bought it and did you not see it?

If they did see it they did not say anything about it . And the vehicle had tree pollen on it so I did not inspect it that closely. It was a 55k dollar jeep I did not expect to have to inspect it that closely. The wife washed it and noticed it right away .

You would think that the dealership is gonna have to bend over backwards for you cause I’m sure they are supposed to inspect all vehicles they take in. Someone’s probably in a world of trouble there.

May I refer you to the JL Delivery Inspection, tree sap or not. You could have refused to accept it. Caveat emptor.
