Hey all,
I brought my 2018 JLUR into my local dealer (not the dealer I purchased from) for a variety of warranty issues:
1) Bubbling paint around door and hood hinges.
2) Inoperative factory installed Aux Switches. (They replaced the Power Distribution Center)
3) Inoperative factory installed trailer plug wiring. (They replaced the Power Distribution Center)
4) Steering stiffens intermittently. (They did a software update--we'll see if it works)
The local dealer is telling me that their normal body shop is booked for an indeterminate amount of time and that I should "take the Jeep to to the selling dealer" because they "may" have a body shop (selling dealer is 2 hours away).... This sounds like a major cop-out to me. It's an FCA warranty issue, any dealer should be able to deal with this, just like an insurance company deals with body and paint issues.
Do I raise a big stink in the service department or somehow contact Jeep?
Thanks for any info you can pass along!
