Pacific Crest Overland Route - OR camping suggestions

We're picking up a teardrop rental in Salem and doing a modified route that will mostly involve the Pacific Crest Overland Route. I have general route plan but wanted to inquire if anyone has done this, specifically the portions between Timothy Lake and Oakridge and can have any pointers for camp sites. TYIA!

You might look at the OODR (Oregon Outback Discovery Route) there are a half dozen routes printed on USGS topos with Lat Long weigh points. I think a few of these routes some of the route you are looking at. If not, they are a great way to travel from Cal boarder to the Washington boarder overland. Map books are sold out of Eugene. Have fun.
