I like the Jeep Wave sticker on the charge port. Where did you get that?

Part number? Is it really needed since we're obly rated to tow 3500 lbs?

Most states require brakes on trailers rated 3000lbs and over. so yes in that case. Trailers have brakes for a reason when they hit a certain weight carrying ability. Then there is the safety factor, the brake controller allow you to manage that trailer on wet surfaces. You would think that with a 5000lb Wrangler that towing 3500lbs would be fine, with the short wheel base it is too easy for the tail to wag the dog with is the #1 cause of towing accidents with bumper pulls. Wranglers with the Short wheel base and high center of gravity are not ideal tow vehicles and need all the help they can get. I regularly tow a cargo trailer for business about 2800lbs. After I added brakes and this controller 1st drive was 10 folds better control....

This is how it should have looked from the factory!! Much happier now. I’m not mechanically inclined, but this wasn’t too bad to do myself. I’m done for now.

Blacked them out as you suggested with plasti dip and looks great. Thanks! Also, a minor thing but I added another 4xe badge on the charge port side (part 68526270AA) which I think looks sweet. I strongly recommend swapping out the Sahara 20” for 17” Rubicon wheels and stock 33 inch BFG tires. A much better look, 1" bigger snow-rated tires (the Bridgestones are not snow rated), no speedometer issues, and not expensive given that Rubi owners often go bigger and leave behind great wheels and tires on Facebook marketplace. The ones I found had 500 miles on them and were $1800 and I then sold my stock wheels and tires for $1700. Just be sure to keep the TPMS from the 20 inch wheels before you sell them since they are Jeep specific - oops!

I swapped out the Bridgestone's for Toyo AT 33'' Tire. I know the 17' are a better off road set up, but I'm pretty happy how much better the 33'' tires on the 20'' wheels look. The black bezels finished off the front end of your Jeep. Looks Great!!

What was plasti dipped? Looks like all OEM work there.

I'd love a black grill.

Wow, looks good. I might just try that with the Snazzberry grill inserts.

I was surprised the inserts look glossy in the photo. I couldn't tell they were dipped.

Anyone tried this on the flares and not have it look ricer?
