Ughh, I picked up a used 2018 Red Rubi in March and now I'm looking at 4Xe. After having a Volt and seeing the torque numbers on this monster I'm wishing I could trade today.

i bought a 2018 Sport for my son to drive last July they gave me $3K more than I paid for it in trade. Also get a buy quoted from Vroom. You might be surprised how much you can get for it, then Have the $7500 Tax credit

So I paid $42 for this in February and Vroom just offered $51k. That is more than the original sticker. Have anyone on here dealt with Vroom before?

Several here and on the 4xe fans Facebook have sold to Vroom just be honest on the condition and they are buying. You likely can get your 42K in trade from a dealer or also try CarMAX cash on the spot

I just sold a Volt to an AutoMax. Part of me wants to just go with a local dealer, but they aren't willing to even talk about anything other than MSRP, much less talking an affiliate discount. Who knows, I have a couple of emails out there and I'm just thinking of checking with Vroom. The idea of giving up the title without a check in hand bothers me, but I guess if other people are having luck with them...

We purchased the High Altitude model yesterday. Been enjoying it so far. 150 miles in the first 24 hours. Seems great so far. HVB range is a bit disappointing for 17kWh but otherwise a pretty nice package from what I can tell. We drove 28 miles on the battery.....twice. So it appears the 21 miles per charge is a little conservative?

My wife saw some new EA stations and she made me pull over. It took me a while to explain what DCFC was and why the 4xe doesn't have it. :)

Still made for a funny photo opp just the same.

This plate on the tailgate is cool. Do all the models have something like this on the vehicle somewhere?

Here's our new Snazzberry Pearl Sahara 4xe :)

A few exterior shots, with my Mustang GT providing a photobomb in the background on that first pic :D Love that Jeep has maintained the iconic grill/headlamps even as they move into EV tech.

Here's a closeup I shot in the sun the other day, this is before I started with polishing, but anyway, the color is super complex, it's pretty fantastic.

It has been two weeks as of last Saturday. I love the Jeep more and more each day. I got 240 installed in the garage and a level 2 charger. Currently at 515 miles on the rig and still have half a tank of gas! Mad obsessed with Sting Grey too.

hisdigness,
How much was the level 2 charger to install and did they have to go back your panel or were they able to work off the line to the dryer?

You can tap into the dryer line however you cannot run both at the same time.

Ordered 2/17, delivered to dealer (Tri-City in NC, 7% under invoice with Tread Lightly and Dealer financing) around 04/22, picked up 05/01/2021.

Sting Gray Rubicon 4xe with Saddle leather, matched flares, towing, both safety packages, cold weather group and sky one touch.

No mods planned other than floor mats, seat covers for the second row, and a rear cargo mat.

Bought as a Mother's Day surprise for my wife and she loves it. The area we live in is a mostly resort type community with 35mph speed limits everywhere and we just drive 2-5 miles at a time. So, for us, the 4xe made perfect sense and we will try to drive 100% electric on as many trips as possible. Grizzl-E L2 charger installed in the garage yesterday. (Had house pre-wired for 240V in the garage when built, was planning on a Tesla or Rivian but I got this instead!)

Absolutely love the Sky One Touch. Worth every penny. Second favorite option is the Adaptive Cruise, made the 6.5 HR drive home easy. I'm going to really try to stretch the battery with the slower speeds and regen, and I'm really hoping to trade it in for a Rubicon Magneto in a few years...
