Hey Jeep peeps....I just got a message on my uconnect that It will be updating..so I accepted (lucky for me I just pulled in my driveway). Any body ever have this happen? I had read they used to do this but it has never happened to me. I just figured they stopped updating this way, apparently not!

Happened to me today as well. The message appeared only as I was shutting down the Jeep after pulling into the driveway. So, I didn't get the chance to say yes or no...

I'll probably download an update via the web page (if available) at work tomorrow and update it via USB drive to be safe.

I just assumed every damn time my Uconnect shuts down, freezes, or won’t turn off it is actually updating. At least that’s what I tell my wife😂

Anyone know what the update fixes??
When it's done updating it will pop up a window that has a "what's new" button.

In my case I pressed it when pulling out of the driveway and it gave me the familiar "You can't do this while moving" error and went away, now I can't find a way to get back to it :)

Got the same update here, thanks for posting. I couldn't find any documentation about it anywhere or even what version number I have installed.

In case anyone is interested.... Using JSCAN, I have Weather Alerts , Traffic Alerts disabled and still received the UConnect update. Also, having a Tazer JL original, Tazer JL Mini, Tazer JL Lite, SmartStopStart unit or even if you just are running a SGW bypass, you will still get the UConnect update.. I have verified this by my experience and from reports by others.

Got the pop up again today, but was able to get the “what’s new” info.

I just made a separate post about this, but can anyone confirm that this update either does or doesn't eliminate iPod compatibility?
