We just got back from our camping trip in Ouray. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. Unfortunately, most of the trails had too much snow to get to the higher elevation ones but we still had a blast. Click the images for larger versions.

We got our camper from www.runawaycampers.com

Love the pics! Every year for the last four or five years I spend a week in Ouray. The san juan's are just spectacular. Here is us working our way down the steps on Black Bear...

Looks amazing! Too much snow on Black Bear still but with the much lower snow fall this year the trails will likely be open much sooner than normal.

There has been snow on those trails as late as the 4th of July.

I will be there the first week of August. Hopefully with a new Mojito JL and not the TJ.

Will be there right after the 4th. Looking forward to seeing the beauty of the San Juan mountains.

Wife grew up there and we are headed back for All4Fun in late July. It is one of the best places on this planet.

I want to get back out there the last weekend of July but know it's pretty packed in the area and lodging may be difficult to find.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing! Brings back fond memories of my college days in Gunnison, which isn't too far from Ouray.

Ouray is my favorite place to go! You just need to go in July-October so you have access to everything.
