Yes they are plug and play, the revers light is 2 or 3 times the brightness of the oem led tail reverse lights, they are crazy bright. I’ll work on some pics.
Let me know if you’d like a Jeep with factory LEDs to do a side by side comparison with.

Hey Scott,

It looks like you've done the American Adventure Lab fender gut kit while keeping the factory fender liners to keep the wiring and engine bay clean? Is that the case? How did that work out? Anything special you needed to do?

PS apologies to @OverIsland for the continued hijak of his build thread :-(

Hello, my name is Tony, currently living in Boise, ID. I have had 2 TJ's (01 Sport, 03 Rubicon), a 2016 JKR, and this is my 6th JL. I had 5 JL's in Hawaii renting them out, LiteBrite actually rented one out, went fantastic till covid shut me down but its all good.

So the current JL is a 2021 JLUR in Sarge Green with the 2.0T (non-eTorque). I found this one while it was in transit, pretty basic Rubicon which is what I wanted. Only options it came with was proximity entry and remote start. Paid sticker for it ($47,950) on 20 September 2021. I am a Ford tech so I have full access to my bays whenever I want to use them with a 15k lift, tire machines etc. Also get some good deals on aftermarket parts so had a pile of parts wheels and tires sitting next to my toolbox before I even got ahold of the Jeep.

As it is built now I get 18.5 mpg average out of it. If I really take it easy on it (only did one tank like this ever) I get 21 mpg average out of it. It locks out in 8th gear on the highway as long as I am not too froggy with the skinny pedal. Super happy with the 2.0 T.

So yes the lights are American adventure labs and they are great. The inner liners are actually Paramount automotive inner liners. I didn’t want to use aluminum as I’m up in the rust belt and have it discolor or the bolts rust. So far everything works really well. Paramounts liners look very well placed imo and keeps the engine bay clean. Had to use a couple of zip ties to where screws were not working but over all it’s very solid and works well!
Oh and I sprayed the white clips with black spray paint. Also if you do the fender chip def go and buy oem clips for the fender. I broke off my fair share so having a bunch and some as extra is a wise idea

Thanks for sharing: this is a fantastic build! I just got my 2022 JLU Rubicon (Sarge Green) last week and have been doing a ton of research on lift kits. The MOPAR is a 2" lift, right? Do you have any problems running 37s on rocks with that? I would really like to do that lift, but I was worried that it wouldn't be enough clearance when off road.
