Hello, my name is Tony, currently living in Boise, ID. I have had 2 TJ's (01 Sport, 03 Rubicon), a 2016 JKR, and this is my 6th JL. I had 5 JL's in Hawaii renting them out, LiteBrite actually rented one out, went fantastic till covid shut me down but its all good.

So the current JL is a 2021 JLUR in Sarge Green with the 2.0T (non-eTorque). I found this one while it was in transit, pretty basic Rubicon which is what I wanted. Only options it came with was proximity entry and remote start. Paid sticker for it ($47,950) on 20 September 2021. I am a Ford tech so I have full access to my bays whenever I want to use them with a 15k lift, tire machines etc. Also get some good deals on aftermarket parts so had a pile of parts wheels and tires sitting next to my toolbox before I even got ahold of the Jeep.

As it is built now I get 18.5 mpg average out of it. If I really take it easy on it (only did one tank like this ever) I get 21 mpg average out of it. It locks out in 8th gear on the highway as long as I am not too froggy with the skinny pedal. Super happy with the 2.0 T.

Very nice build and the color/wheels are spot on. :like:

I’m considering another aftermarket bumper and I like the simplicity of the ARB but I bet it’s heavy. I have a Genright now but I would also like better access to the winch after a recovery realization so I’ve been looking at top mounts.

Thanks! If I was to do it again, I think I would go with the Motobilt front bumper that requires you to cut some of the frame away, I love how minimalistic it is. And I like how the winch sits inside of it, instead of on top.

I don't remember the ARB bumper weighing very much but decided to look it up anyhow, wow, 75 pounds! haha. I definitely don't remember it being that heavy as I installed it myself with the winch but ok.

I need a bit more room in front of the spool. My end of line protective sheath slipped off by the hook & got stuck between the fairlead and spool and caused bind. Then mud, leaves, sticks getting stuck down there too because I can’t even get my fingers down there easily. Super tight fit between the frame rails with the Zeon Platinum…. Which the brake broke. Sheesh. I thought I was done for a few years lol. More $$$$
