For starters, thanks for being here!

Quick question on "D" status...Can the build be modified while still in D status, prior to adjusting to D1? I asked to have the polished lip wheels removed and the dealer said they would do it as soon as it went D status, which it has. However, I was under the impression that D status locked in the order and no changes were allowed.

I believe changes can still be made while in D status (although those might be limited as far as what you can change). I say that because before I realized the JLs were coming out this year I was about to have a JK built....but they were no longer taking new orders on Jks. They did tell me so long as they (the dealer) had the color I wanted assigned to them, they could still change the options while it was in D status.

The most recent order in D1 looks like it was placed on 11-10-17. Not all of the orders before then are in D1 however. Some from late October aren't in production. Then again it looks like the data for D1 hasn't been updated in a while.
