I’ve been in Inspection now for just over 30 days. Is that normal? What had been others experience?
Thanks...my VON starts with a 4....
Check with your dealer to see if a new one was assigned. If your order was in I for 30 days, chances are it failed inspection and they’re building a new one. The new one would have a different VON/VIN than your originals and would have a status code of its own.

If you don’t have anothe VON/VIN and you are indeed still stuck in I, ask Jeep chat to escalate the delay.

It looks like my VON changed without me knowing. Heard from my dealer today. Maybe that's why I'm not on the spreadsheet? Will you please update? Why would my VON change?

Sounds like your car failed inspection. Curious what happens to those that fail. Fleet vehicles? Destroyed?

Anyone hearing anything about when the turbos are starting production. All i know after almost a month on order(2/10) is that I'm in D status. Also ordered Dual tops and LED package. So I've heard that mid-march for soft top should be ok by then and LED as well. But nothing, zip, on Turbos

Yep, makes sense. It won't show up on the first report this morning but will this afternoon. Showing "I" right now :like:

There is a group that attempts to resolve the issue(s).

I had a Grand Cherokee fail inspection (2017 GC Trailhawk) and a new vehicle was built. They corrected the issue that failed, and it actually hit the dealer lot before my remake. The ones that fail are corrected and sold. I could have taken it, but I was not comfortable buying a vehicle that I knew failed QC and had no idea what the issue actually was even with it being “fixed”. I just waited for the replacement to be built and delivered.

Very interesting. I feel like I would take the opposite view. If something was outside of tolerance and was subsequently fixed, I would imagine that the fixed result would be much closer to specification. For example, maybe a bumper has to be attached within 1mm off-center to pass inspection; if it fails because it is 1.5mm off, I would imagine the new one would be much closer to dead-center than a different vehicle that passed initially, with, say, 0.75mm deviation. Or maybe I'm giving too much credit to the group that deals with fixing things...

I have a tenant of mine that does it, who is doing mine, but you can read more about it here:
http://www.autosupershield.com/paint-protection-films/3M-Paint-Protection-Film.php

Interested in one of the best paint protection films money can buy? 3M Paint Protection Film is the best choice. Their transparent, super-thin urethane film was originally developed in the 1960s to increase the lifespan of military helicopter blades, saving thousands of taxpayer dollars and protecting troops in harsh weather conditions. It has since gone on to be the officially licensed PPF used by NASCAR and is even OEM-approved. That level of protection is now available to vehicle enthusiasts.

This PPF is excellent for protecting a vehicle's paint from abrasions, scratches, and chips anywhere from the front bumper to the side rocker panels to the rear bumper. This not only keeps cars looking great for years, but prevents things like bug acid from damaging surfaces and maintains the vehicle's resale value from dropping due to aging paint. Due to 3M's product flexibility, this is also a great choice for protecting motorcycles, ATVs, RVs, boats, jet skis, and the trailers that haul many of these recreational investments. The rugged protection granted is perfect against ocean sun or flying dirt and sand. Similar to automobiles, this film can be applied to spots that receive the brunt of nature's aggression, or to the entire painted surface of the vehicle - with the exception of some watercraft that have special below-the-waterline requirements for such products.

In addition to the many benefits of 3M PPF, there’s actually much more. To maintain each car's shine, the film is installed with its own clearcoat, eliminating one costly and time-consuming extra step. A day after the initial install, cleaning is simple - traditional driveway washing will not harm the PPF. 3M also makes both a wax and a scratch remover for correcting minor abrasions that may appear on the film during the life of the vehicle. And finally, when correctly applied to a fully-cured paint surface, it can be removed without damaging the vehicle.

For protection both the military and NASCAR have trusted, 3M Paint Protection Film is an excellent choice for any - and every - vehicle.
Can I ask what the full name of the film is? I don't see any matte finish PPFs on 3M's site currently. All state that they are "virtually invisible".
