I walked into my local dealership looking to trade in my 13 SRT8 Grand Cherokee and get into a nice used JKU Rubicon with a 6speed...ended up ordering my current Jeep: 2021 Nacho JLU Rubicon 6 Speed with 8.4 Uconnect, LED light group, and Trailer tow/Aux switch group. Here's how it sits as of now, parts list to follow...

Thanks man! Yeah it's not my first rodeo having a lifted jeep, made the "upgrade as you go" mistake before and it bit me in the ass hard.

Thanks, yeah I'm a fan of the color-matched HT. The 392 got me into too much trouble lol I have my 70 Dart with a 408 when I wanna go fast

Some more parts arrived over the last few days: Motobilt fender chop brackets with poison spyder 3/4in switchbacks, Motobilt inner fenders, and scored a Borla S-type climber exhaust on ebay for $200! It has a nice tone, a bit lower but not very loud which is alright. Just waiting on the lift kit to ship from Clayton next Friday. Also scheduled my appointment to have my axles regeared to 5.13s and an Artec truss installed on the front axle. Decided on those gears due to the added weight from the bumpers I have and the fact that I live in the hills of WNY, which makes 6th gear useless. Doing the math, 5.13s will bring the RPM's up to where 5th normally is with 4.10s and 33s...so nice of jeep to use a double overdrive manual transmission Also getting setup to run 40s once the 37s are worn down.

Got bored yesterday and installed the Motobilt A-Pillar brackets with some eBay lights I had. I really like their products but hate the fact that they don't provide instructions for the majority of the stuff they offer, these are pretty simple but other things would be nice to have something to reference...anyways, pics below

Installed the Clayton 2.5" lift over the weekend. Need to do a quick adjustment on the draglink to center the steering wheel.

Went on a cruise today to calibrate the speedometer (the 6 speed has a specific procedure through the tazer mini). Got to stop at the local boat launch and get some good pics. Just waiting on the bumpers to be powder-coated now and set up a time to bring my axles to a shop out in Buffalo to have my truss installed and regeared, living in the hills with 37s and 4.10s isn't the most enjoyable time.
