Thanks! I even unplugged everything and kept the lights off while running the car, I still heard it. Fairly confident it's innocuous and he seemed pretty convinced it had something to do with the turbo. I've not dealt with any issues thus far so I'm going to assume it's fine.
the headlights and fogs are done! All that’s left are the fenders..

Anyone find another good deal on these? I know oracle is offering 10% off for vday but a few pages back people were finding them for ~$425.

So, back in November I purchased the Oracle Oculus Bi-LED headlights. I posted a picture a few pages back about the color of the halo. It seems a little greenish. I reposted the picture below.

So I recently ordered the Oracle High Performance 20W LED Fog Lights and had them installed today. That is the second picture. The halo around the fog lights is way brighter than that around the headlight. Nice, but you think they'd match? Am I missing something?

Hey @10mmauto. We actually usually recommend pairing the “no halo” fogs with the Oculus since the latter has a diffuser that sits over the halo to block part of the output, making it more uniform. The fog lights' halos have individual LEDs so the uniformity is slightly different, which makes it look brighter than the Oculus.

Does the color temp of the actual lights match?

The headlights definitely look a shade warmer to me.
You may see a slight difference in appearance due to the diffuser we talked about above, although the actual temperature is the same.

So just got these installed and they are awesome. Question is the cutoff line. Should you alight for it to have one steps or two steps? When I aligned with two in the garage, the cut off was sharp and perfect, but when on he road, the lines are rather far apart? Wondering if I aligned too close to the wall and it the cutoff line should be sharper at a distance or closer when projecting on a wall from say 15ft away. And I am aware that passenger side will be stepped up higher. Thanks!

You want to adjust them from about 25 ft back. As u get closer to something, like a garage the cut off will change. The passenger side should be adjusted a little higher.

Would anyone mind/be able to show their cutoffs? I used the default alignment from Oracle which I think has two steps. I like it plenty fine now. Love the lights in general, and the projection/cutoff is just awesome (especially with the blue hue you get at the transition). I'm just not sure what other "options" I have and whether/not it's worth changing.

Does the cutoff change? I see people mentioning a number of steps. Some sound like they have a perfectly straight line or maybe just one step. I see at least two in that video. I'm running the default which is two. Just wondering what others are using.
