Got the DRLs and have been happy with them, plug and play. However, they will not work as DRL and with headlights. Only one or the other, which I actually prefer because headlights, fog lights, AND fender lights is a little too much.
I tried the turn signal bulbs and had to use a resistor. I prefer the halogen here, because the LED was not as bright. Only reason I wanted the LED was to get rid of the yellow that you could see behind the lens, but I can live with it.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Do you need two per side (as per the OEM Sahara/Rubicon setup), or can you just plug in 1 per side (like the Sport).???

I replaced both DRL and turn signals last week with Oracle bulbs. . it was pretty easy. At first I thought the Oracle led bulbs didn't fit b but they did ( hard to push in) . No resistors . The work great.

I did this swap last week - cheap, easy, looks good.

I also swapped out the amber side marker for a clear led diode dynamics side marker(amber when on).

I am deciding if I want to do this too.

has anyone tried the diode dynamics DRL’S & Turns? (They need resistors too.)

I’m trying to figure out the difference between the Oracle ones $40.00 and the diode dynamic ones. $80.00

OracleLights. I have these lights on my JL and one (left) bulb intermittently gives a bulb out error when left is activated. I’ve contacted tech support several times and they keep saying I need to add a load resistor. Is that correct? Per the description on the site...it should work via canbus. Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers

Well they are the manufacturer of the product.....
Canbus is why it won't work or only works intermittently. It is looking for a certain amp draw when doing a system check on bulb health. Since the LEDs only draw a fraction of the power of a halogen bulb, it may think the bulb is out and disable the circuit.

Hey there, that sounds like a resistance issue which would be fixed by a load equalizer. Let us know here or give our team a call if you have other questions.

Ok. Bummer I was hoping i wasn’t going to need a load equalizer based on the product description. May I suggest adding that as note to the product description to avoid confusion.

“ORACLE Part# 5111-023

These error-free LED bulbs are designed to work WITHOUT the use is load equalizers by communicating with your vehicle's CAN Bus computer system and prevent "bulb out" error messages. High-output dual color “Switchback” features easy plug-and-play installation.”

Very easy - just popped off 4-5 rivets and pulled the panel back behind the fog lamps (just enough that I could slip my hand in) and removed the halogen bulb and replaced with LED bulb.
