Hello All, in my recent search for a new tire inflation system I came across a few products that will help optimize a single hose air system. First I started with the All - Top 7.06 CFM black friday deal $126. From all the information I read this size compressor should be used with atleast a 2 tire system. But I am one of those guys that doesn't like allot of gear to carry around. So I decided to try and optimize my single hose system first. The first thing I did was cut off the factory Air pressure gauge and air chuck. Then I got a 1/4 NPT brass barb for the factory 1/4 hose. And installed a Jaco flow thru quick connect Chuck. I used my tire deflator to remove the valve core and connected the air chuck and fired up the compressor. My air up time for one 35" tire 15psi - 35psi in 01:05. So I got to thinking how I could simplify this setup even more and I found This product on walmart. All in all I think this setup would make it possible for a single hose air system to still be practical. Cheers!

Back pressure on the compressor will cause it to burn out quicker. I made a 2 tire inflation hose and it doesn’t take much space for the peace of mind and quicker inflation. It’s also useful to balance tire pressure.. I can connect it to both front tires and they equalize.

I agree thats why removing the valve stem core will hopefully flow 5 ish CFM with a 7 CFM pump shouldn't cause too much back pressure on the pump.
