Feels like a fabric/twill. Definitely not vinyl, at least on top or bottom layers.

This one I can help with. I went to Jeep and after they pulled my VIN # they confirmed that the Sky One Top is the Premium Acrylic Twill Material, not the normal Soft Top material. They recommend using the Bestop Protectant. Its made just for the Acrylic Twill.
I started off doing Two good applications. Make sure you remove the Bird Poop quickly. Really keeps Top clean. UV Cracking and Hardening protection too.
