I ordered my 392 in 2021...after five months Jeep canceled it and said I needed to reorder a 2022. I truly wanted it, had waited enough time, and so I bought one off a lot with a $5K ADM. I hate that it happened that way, but I got the exact Jeep I wanted and didn't have to keep waiting. Sometimes you just open up the wallet and try to be happy with the outcome.

I recently visited the same dealer, to have a look-see at current pricing trends.

They do seem to have doubled down on their Additional Dealer Markup strategy.

Exhibit A: a modestly optioned Transit 250 van.

The MSRP is $47K, rounded.

The ADM is $20K.

And...here's the new bit, ostensibly to justify the aforementioned ADM: sample market pricing!

Well, when the facts are thrown at us in this manner, who are we to argue?

And the beat goes on.

Yesterday I was told $5,000 non refundable deposit by a dealer outside of Miami to hold a minivan that was already on the lot. No I remember why I have sworn never to do business with SE FL dealers :D
