Mainly to air up, Power tools is just a plus but not something that's necessary for what I'd like to do at the moment. Then again.... are any of the mods we do to our jeeps "necessary" lol I'm pretty sure we'd all say yes lol Where in the cab is your mounted exactly? I'm comfortable enough with running wires and lines, just picky about having things showing. I like to make sure things are tucked neatly and look clean. My ditch lights wiring is currently ran thru the firewall and the switch is located by door harness sitting flush
Here is the mount I used in my 4 door. I went with the same brand for my 2 door.
If you're not planning power tools, I really recommend sticking with a portable. If you need tools you can start dragging along a cheap tank to fill up for the 1-2 times a year you actually need it. Just be sure to find a locking air chuck or some setup that doesn't involve squatting next to the tire holding a trigger down. That was my initial mistake and the first time I refilled my 39's I went for the expensive big-boy. I'm also impatient.

ARB twin mounted under passenger seat with Innovative AT mount and 4-way inflation hose. I love it. ARB twin is probably the most expensive of the onboard compressors but it’s good and it’s fast. I preferred under seat to rear cargo or under hood solutions. Controlled by AUX switch.
Didn't even know they made the this system... it's like a whole kit specifically made for the ARB compressor. I had just been looking at the MORRFlate Mega Quad. It looks for around the same price.. you can get the Innovative Air Up System

Are you running this of your OE battery?

I've seen of this guys videos before. I really like how this is tucked in the engine bay and the placement of air chuck so it's easily accessible. Is there a reason you went with the ARB single (aside from the price point difference) or did you just do ARB single for this particular set up cuz it fits?

Also, my JLU isn't equipped with the OE aux switches like this one is and would need to look into a switch panel. I only have 1 switch for my ditch lights but knew I'd need to get a switch panel eventually for this and other aux lights I plan on adding. Is yours equipped w/ OE aux switches? if no, what switch panel are you running?
A mix of both actually. I felt the single would do the job of airing up just fine - and it does - the price vs convienience of the double didn't seem worth it to me. I do have the aux switches so it was a straight forward wiring job.
And the firewall mount really appealed to me - as a 2 door owner I need all the interior space I can get.
...And I wheel a lot with my wife, who gets to sit in a nice quiet interior while the pump buzzes away under the hood;)

But the single really works fine, call it 90 seconds or so to air up each 33 from 16 to 36 psi...

Went this route with mine a year ago and it has been great. Limited to the ARB single and the 2.0T engine however..
Thats the compressor I got, but I decided to go portable with mine so I could swap it between vehicles etc.

I have an arb twin under the driver seat. Drilled a hole in the floor drain plug and ran 3/8" line with a schrader valve to each wheel well. I have 4 short hoses that connect to each tire, turn my ac on high and direct it to the floor vents to keep the compressor cool, then I hit my aux button to turn on the compressor.

I put ARB in rear cubby with American Adventure Lab mount and remote kit. ARB twin stays protected inside and the remote lit allows me to plug in a hose and toggle the switch on.

I like this has an OE look to it for less than the Mopar Aux Switches
I have this exact setup. It is perfect imo. The dual compressor is nice, but honestly the single is fine for airing up. The switch panel is awesome. Looks factory and is a super clean under the hood. Makes wiring accessories so easy.

Yeah it does get pretty loud.. but i've only heard the dual vs the single but i'm sure its not that much difference. 90 seconds isn't that bad in the scheme of things. I usually like to go down to 16/17 and then air up to 30 on my 35's

I have the American adventure labs rear cubby mount for my ARB system. I added a little .6 gallon tank so I can use any air tools.

This one of the setups that I like cuz the space is perfect for it. I current have random tools hidden and here and a bag of zipties.. cuz zipties fix all LOL however, I took my muffler off (to get a little rasp of an exhaust sound without spending the exhaust money LOL) and have yet to get a down facing pipe and cuppler to prevent this space of heating up. The only thing about this... is not having cargo in the trunk to be able to access this panel
