+1 on this advice@LLRubylady
@pablo_max3045 mentioned hammering in the next size up, torx bit and then having at it again. I think that is how the other guy I mentioned got it out.
No, you can't get a bolt with the head of it painted Mojito. You will have to get a replacement bolt and use touch up paint to paint the head of the bolt yourself.
You might want to get some auto body shop to remove the bolt. Will cost you little and save from making more of a mess.
Dont give up on yourself because of one bad experience.Well, yep. I’m not going to try it further. I’ll have someone do it.
I’ve sworn off do9ng anything myself. From now on i’ll Just hire. Less frustration.
Can i order a Mojito replacement bolt? Just in case I take off the Atlas steps if I want to sell years from now?
@LLRubylady … I couldn't agree more here. This happens to a lot of us... we tinker around & then there's the 'aw sh*t' moment, but all the guidance is here. But @viper88 said it best... just know your limitations. We all have do-it-yourself fix-it ideas, but he's also right that this should be professionally done.Dont give up on yourself because of one bad experience.
