Saw this photo of a CJ used for overlanding.

For us 2-Door JL folks, thought it would be cool if someone could remake this for the new Jeeps.
Of course there are some design limitations.

YEP, those rear wheels under the camper will not follow the up/down of the Jeep.

I saw this and said this is the PERFECT Overlander

Old School Overlanding

In the old days, there was no "overlanding."

It was called "camping" by everyone who participated in the activity.

Indeed... "Overlanding" was the Oregon Trail. But with the attention spans of kids these days, just getting them away from their phones for more than 30 minutes is an "epic journey".

My coworker is about to turn 50 and has bluetooth connected to his grill, so he doesn't have to leave his big screen to check the temperature.

Not just "kids these days".

Looking at there has be a connection to the Jeep that connection must be flexible, like a 5th wheel. Would like to see how its connected to the Jeep??/

YEP, I knew it had to be a flex connection. You don't that some is going to break when the rear Jeep wheel go over a big speed bump or curb and the camper wheel have not caught up.

I recently visited the Edison and Ford Winter Estates museum in Florida, where they have Henry Ford’s overlanding rig (design attributed to Ford himself).

Think slideouts and onboard water are something new? Nope…

Times have not changed much. I have 3 slides, fireplace, walk-in shower, 2 x 43 in TVs, King Size bed and it all fits in the back of my FORD truck.

It must have either scrubbed badly when turned or it had castering wheels.
