What a great thread. I have a 2020 JLU w/33" tires and looking for a 2" lift. I figure I'll go 35" when the 33"s are done.
I was looking at the Mopar 2" with Fox, but reading this thread I'm now looking at the Metal Cloak.
Mine is a DD, but living in Joshua Tree we weekend up in the Big Bear trails and JT mining trail and I've scraped a bit and though not a rock crawler, I do think 2-2.5" would be great.
Finally, to my question - With regard to the back-spacing and driveshaft, the spacing has always confused me. With the 33"s I don't remember any conversation with the shop re spacing. When ordering the lift, should I specify the 4.5 given what I have and what I may have in next tire purchase?
Given we aren't crawling, just rock gardens and "moderate +" trails is the driveshaft necessary??
Oh, and last question (of the first batch!), I plan on installing on the current stock some JL quick releases. Will they work with this suspension lift?
Many thanks in advance!
