Noticed oil on the garage floor. Crawled under to take a look, appears to be the oil pan gasket. The oil pan bolts are oil covered as well as a good portion of the pan. To the dealership next week Wednesday. At least they will have a loaner for me.

I know crap happens, but damn, less than 12,000 miles and she sprung a leak. :(

Dealer shouldnā€™t have it long. I had the start of a leak that I noticed when I was cleaning it after wheeling. Oil film all over my oil pan. Took it to the dealer and they resealed it. They had it for about 4 hours.

Here was the issue with mine. Possible same with yours since you said oil pan.

Had this happen on the wife's highlander. Found a small puddle of oil on the garage floor and it ended up being a timing chain cover leak.

Dealer called and stated it was the front crank shaft seal leaking. Had last oil change at 9,381 miles, currently at 11,956. Oil change was done October 15th. Paper work states that 5 quarts of oil was added.
