Very nice, but my cheap $1.50 Walmart special still works, after 25 years of use, for all my cars, and trucks. I would like the one you have listed, but it would be specific, only for my Jeep. Then I would have to get one for the truck, and the wife's Toyota. In the end, it would cost me about $50 in funnels, when my old one still works. .

pretty cool, I have one funnel that is the one that works for everything. wide mouth, low center, weighs enough so the wind or a tip of the vehicle will not tip it.

I like the idea, but don't like that it does not work on 2 of 4 vehicles....so no.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I don't have balance the funnel with one hand. I just use a plastic funnel and let it sit at whatever angle it likes.
Same, except I learned a lesson a few years back that I have not forgotten concerning allowing a funnel to sit where it wanted to 😁

I just did the first oil change last weekend and was thinking I should buy another oil cap, drill it out and epoxy a funnel to it to do exactly what the funnel you posted does.

I have one of their funnels for my VW, I will get one for the Jeep once the free oil changes are done.

Several techs at work purchased the "set" off the tool truck. (Marco/Snap On / etc)
4-5 adapters fit most vehicles...
Weren't cheap though... Probably not worth the expense for only one vehicle.... They are used daily

My funnel cracked today and I tripped over this one. Has anyone tried this one?
I have to admit I like the idea of not having to balance the funnel and a jug of oil.

Thanks CarbonSteel! This and my Stahibus oil drain valve will make oil changes quick and spill-free! With the Stahibus valve, I just drain the oil directly into the previous 5qt oil jug and drop it off where I bought my oil, then save the new empty 5qt jug for the next oil change.

I use similar funnels. One is specific for my Escalade and one is specific for my MX-5. They do not have one specific for my VM Motori 3.0L diesel so I got the generic funnel below:

Jeep Wrangler JL Oil Funnels--Anyone Try This? funnel

I wish I had purchased the above funnel first because it works on almost everything, including the diesel and it holds itself in place while I pour.

Wow, talk about over engineering a funnel.

Be cool if you had a service garage and did a lot of changes on a lot of different vehicles though :)

That's true. But, most large shops get their oil in bulk, and pump it straight into your vehicle. Then again, some dont. .
