Oil consumption

Having issues with oil consumption still dropping about a quart every 3,000. Burning a little less oil in the last 1500 miles until it got below zero then dropped about 3/4 of a quart in about 300 MI. Had oil filter housing replaced about a year ago seems to be worse census replacement wondering if this has anything to do with it? If anybody knows anything or has any ideas please let me know I'm going crazy here? And as always thank you
