I'm guessing this is oil from the stick after an oil change? How many miles on the motor?

If that was the first dab of the stick, there could be some old oil left on it. Dab, clean , and repeat a few times and then checkout the oil.

Looks like you need more fiber in your diet.

Looks about right. It is amazing how long oil really takes to fully drain an engine. Especially with dealerships, once the oil draining really slows down they just put the plug back in. So your new oil is mixing in with the oil still in the engine, and that’s about what it looks like. When I used to change my oil, I would pull the drain plug and filter and walk away for at least an hour.

Old oil is in all of the bearings, the pump, and, it takes a long time to completely drain.

Its not out of the question.

when I change my oil it is on ramps, with the filter pulled, and I give it about 30min of draining. I check the oil level once it is back on level surface and running for about 10 minutes, oil look a little cleaner than that to me

30 minutes vs 3 minutes.

No shop drains it right. Half of them dont check the oil after, as, the gun has preset...that goes out of calibration.

Really, is this a test? What's the backstory you're leading up to? Or is this just another bullshit thread for 300 people to speculate, offer stupid opinions and just type so they can admire 12 paragraphs of nothingness?

Wow

Thanks all for the replies. Especially the snarky ones. Sorry if I was not detailed enough. Just pissed at my dealer. Just charged me $330 for both batteries. Just in case you did not know there is a hidden one. There is. $500 more for an TIPM. All dead all at the same time. Then while getting rapped I asked for oil change and tire rotation. Get in the car to pick it up. tool left inside. Cover over the emergency gear release not put back. No new oil sticker and they did not reset the oil either. So I checked it my self and after 3 dips with the stick in my opinion it looks pretty dirty for a vehicle that always gets oil changes early with synthetic.
