Offroad shop recommendations North/Central Alabama

Hello, I have a Rubicon XR on order. I want to run 37’s and was thinking about the Clayton 2.5 overlander +. Does anyone have an off-road shop that they have used that they recommend for installation? Also, if you have an xr running 37’s what lift are you running, I am open to suggestions. Thanks

I've used Elite Offroad in Chelsea. No complaints. Further north than B'ham, I'm no help.

4wheel parts if you want commercial straightforward, install. Not very insightful, and if you want to do something custom, you’re out of luck, but they have a store in pelham AL. I don’t think they are very cost effective. I asked them install prices for lights or winch/winchplate and it was crazy. Laughed out loud when he told me


Southern Offroad is in Pelham as well. I’ve worked with them before and they do good work.

ATO (Alabama Truck Outfitters) in Homewood is a newer shop, but I’ve heard they do good work as well.

Avoid SOR, 4WP is good for bolt ons, Elite did a decent job on my 4Runner. Personally looking for someone in the same area that can actually weld.

Unfortunately we do not have many options in North Alabama. Outlaw of Huntsville is actually located in Athens / Limestone Co. Not close to Huntsville at all. Cole’s Automotive is a good shop for general stuff and he is good at figuring out issues.
