Today, Jeep replied to my emails confirming officially that 2018s will receive ORP!

Dear Andrew,

I wanted to follow up with you and make you aware of a recent official
statement released by us here at Jeep.

The all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler will offer Off-Road Pages as late
availability as originally stated at launch. Customers who purchased a
2018 Jeep Wrangler with the optional Off-Road Pages will receive the
feature through an over-the-air update at no cost and without a service
appointment. A notice will appear on the Uconnect display that will
advise owners when the download is available.

I don't think it would require a subscription for safety updates or critical vehicle updates. The radio features obviously would but FCA likely has a partnership with XM for the OTA updates.

I could also be wrong because I have no idea.

It is an option in the 8.4" infotainment package. If you did not opt for this you won't have them. If you did opt for this you will get them in an update TBD. It will display the Off Road information in the center cluster on the 8.4 inch screen. Instead of having one gauge shown at a time like engine temp or oil temp or transmission temp all those gauges will be present at the same time on the big screen.

If your order consists of the upgraded Infotainment system with the 8.4" display, you'll get the Off-Road Pages in an update later on. You don't have to opt into anything. As long as you ordered the upgraded infotainment system, you'll get it.

Yes. The only issue is whether or not you get it on the Uconnect screen. It's always on the cluster.
