These have been up for a long time. The 25 mpg hwy is a 6-spd V6 two door Wrangler. The 4 door JL says New Wrangler Unlimited. The official 2.0 turbo mileage is what everyone's waiting for and the unicorn diesel.

Maybe the Hurricane turbo will hit the 25 mpg mark in the real world MPGs with the etorque system.

That 6 speed with the stock ratios are insanely tall. They might make for a good EPA number, but in the real world you're downshifting on the freeway at the slightest hint of imperfect conditions.

Even with the 4.10's in the Rubicon I thought it was almost geared too tall there.

Regulations dictate the agenda on the power train, every car company is fighting the same battle. I’m surprised the 8 speed automatic transmission doesn’t do better than the 6 speed manual. The 8th gear is fairly tall but the moment you need more power is seamlessly shifts to a lower gear.

Actually, at 70mph or higher, it isn't so bad. I don't even go to 6th gear until 60mph.

Only the 4 door EPA figures were available

WOW a 2 mpg difference, yes the torque would be nice especially towing my trailer. But as far a wheeling you will never notice the difference. I have had 350 HP and 400 lbs of torque in a Jeep and a 1980 4 cy CJ went right along with me anywhere. Of course the 350 V8 sounded great!
how fast do you wheel, 3-5 mph ? Whatever you want, is not always what not need.
