Sorry so slow on this. The shovel is 35" long and the axe is 28". The axe is a Fiskars 28" chopping axe and is a great camp axe.

Yeah, that is an easy fix. A lot of people are doing that. I normally have a set of tools with me when I hit the trail anyways. My '66 CJ-5 is known to always braking something, always need tools.
