Jeepless at the moment.
Ordered a 24 392 and the red leather was a required option. The box had to be clicked to submit the order. I dig it tho. Whatever we get will be covered in snacks and little boy footprints and I love it.

Yes, that's a good increase in air flow. And just think of all the cool amber light kits people can buy to put in those voids.

I like the changes overall, but mainly to the Willys. No plans to trade my 18 2DR JL sport, but If I did; it would be for a 2 DR Willys.

the engine options didn't change, why did they suddenly need all that additional airflow now?

ugh.. it looks even uglier up close. For all the folks who said the willys blacked out one will look fine on the new design... BEHOLD!

My take on all this is different than most of the posts I have read in this thread. I see all this new stuff and can only imagine what the MSRP will be on a JLRU. I also see a lot of tech that does not really do much except unnecessarily complicate a vehicle whose claim to fame is how capable it is off road or back country etc.

For a vehicle to be off road legendary it really needs to be legendarily reliable. I don’t see how any of these upgrades do that. The Dana 44 is a great axel/third member assembly. People occasionally break an axel but usually because they are doing something insanely over the top well beyond what was ever intended. The challenge in towing behind a Jeep is not so much weight but wheel base. It’s a terrible vehicle for towing. You run the risk of getting yourself in serious trouble towing anything big or heavy behind a Jeep. FF axles won’t change that. If you lose control of your Jeep or trailer you not only put you and your passengers at risk but all the other vehicles on the road around you. I have seen some horrifying trailer crashes over the years. All were avoidable.

I understand a lot of people will be excited by all the gizmos and elections being added to the new Jeep models. But, I would rather the new Jeep be made more simple and more reliable than more complex and less reliable. I long for the Jeep to be more like the old four door 4x4 Toyota Helix sold overseas 20 years ago than an F-35 with numerous single points of failure. .

I can’t help feeling like people are being fleeced and they don’t know or don’t care….Oh well, there is no slowing this train.

It's all about costs. They reduced the amount of steel and replaced 9 individual plastic parts with one, which contributes to a shorter install time. Any increased air flow is just a byproduct.

I feel like I’m staring at the chain screen on the front of my fireplace…
Wow. It’s ugly at that angle for sure!
I’m torn between selling my 23 Earl 392 or ordering the 24.
Wish I could keep the black interior and my grill, but get the infotainment system.

Is this real?

Thats way uglier than I thought. It is like the wrangler got a "lingerie" grill.

There’s nothing added to these that’s any more complicated than the current JL/JT.
