Dana 35 rear? What happened to the M series front & rears? JK Sport was at least a D44.

Still single piston caliper brakes?

4.71:1 1st gear on the 850RE instead of 5:1 of the typical 8HP50.. WTF !?!

Also what’s a D478 MT? Incredibly short 1st gear @ 5.13:1 , but also short than expected OD too @ 0.72.

somethings not right. On i think it is page 14 of the cnet link thta great grape ape posted is picture of what I think is the Sahara package dash . The pict ures shows the 4 wheel drive mode and it sgows 3 LOCKERS front cent and rear and all are engaged. SO that is the select trac right? on the Sahara? with 3 lockers ? so that is not select Trac II or is it?

Don’t know, looks like a re-code/re-naming of something else, but I haven’t seen any candidate with a 5.13 to 1 first gear ratio.

Here's a positive: the Uconnect bezel (which I have bashed previously) looks much better on the Sahara dash than it does on the Rubi.

Diesel info is scarce, but the axles are not D44s on the diesel, IF, the photos of the diesel belly is of a JL.

I am THRILLED with the gear ratios in the manual. Looks ready for 35's with the 4.10 gearing in the Rubi!
