All the links are stating the diesel won't be available till model year 2019, but it was mentioned earlier that the ecodiesel would be available around 1st of August 2018? Would really like to know when the diesel will be available???
Those might be the same dates :)

The backseat in the Sahara pics looks like a spot for a 3rd person in the center, and the rubi is straight up fit for 2. Digging the rubi style
The rubi is a two door. I think 4 door rubis will still seat 3 in the back

The 2019 models will begin assembly in 2018. August is pushing it.

So for those of us who have to have a manual transmission, the 3.6 liter is the only option and we can't take advantage of the improved fuel economy and torque of the 2.0 and the even higher torque of the diesel? That sucks.

Probably for MY 2019 Wranglers that will start production around August?

The Sahara looks fantastic both inside and out. The interior is a huge step forward. :clap::clap::clap:

Leather dash :rock:. Was worried it was only going to be on the Overland export model.

Seems like the 2.0 is the sweet spot :like:

Just waiting on;

- “Sky One Touch” power top
- Price
- Availability to order all of the above.

Waiting waiting waiting

For those getting the manual transmission, you should be happy to know that the throws will be 50% shorter than the JK's manual.

I couldn't be happier with what I see so far with the manual. The short throws and the ratios are great! I think I'm going to call my dealer tomorrow and tell him to get a 2" Mopar lift and 35" KO2's ready for this thing, right out of the gate!

I don’t like the porthole at all. Way too gimmicky. Probably ends up adding unnecessary cost to boot.
Probably the least gimmicky thing I’ve seen in quite a while. Have you ever rock-crawled with doors off vs on?

4 door vs 2 door. 4 door is a 5-seater.

somethings not right. On i think it is page 14 of the cnet link thta great grape ape posted is picture of what I think is the Sahara package dash . The pict ures shows the 4 wheel drive mode and it sgows 3 LOCKERS front cent and rear and all are engaged. SO that is the select trac right? on the Sahara? with 3 lockers ? so that is not select Trac II or is it?
It’s a weird setup for ST. It includes a 4PT mode, but the original ST-II didn’t have 4PT, just 2WD, 4auto and 4Lo (plus Neutral) in the liberty and Just 4Auto and 4Lo (plus N) in the Hemi Durango, so WTF !?!

So these pics of ST in the JLU Sahara don’t make sense;
