Off Road Pages Update Status...

Not sure if there is any correlation, but I did PM @JeepCares with my VIN several days ago and now my ORP is back. Will see if it sticks this time.

I did a PM to Jeep cares as well but did not put my vin number so hopefully they get back to me I’ll give them that info.

What do you mean by “after getting used to the Jeep phoning hope for permission to show them to me”? They work well?

This is what I posted in another ORP thread:

My experience has been that when you start the Jeep and go to the apps page right away, ORPs won't be there. But, wait for what seems like forever ... actually a minute or two and ORPs will show up. Punch the icon and it still takes 20 or so seconds for the readable pages to appear.

It seems like the apps (there are three other apps that act the same) are checking to see if you have permission to view them. Once the ORPs come up - and if you don't shut the Jeep off - then they work well for me. That is until my backup lines took the afternoon off yesterday.

The frustrating thing is my wife's 2018 Summit came with ORPs installed (she really needs them in the mall parking lot ... not) and they have not given her any problems. They have a short delay coming up on start up, but it's a much shorter delay.

Every day I look at this thread thinking maybe just maybe today will be MY day. Then sooner or later during the days I’ll make my way out to the Jeep to find out that it’s just like the day before, no damn update.

I did the update several weeks ago and the first few days ORPs icon would appear but could never click on it to open it up, and then seconds later it would just disappear off the screen.
Now weeks later the icon doesn’t even show up, so I have yet to see ORPs work. Hope they get this sorted out with a new update. hopefully without waiting until next year.

No update here either, there are a lot of us, but maybe they will get it right before we get it!

It's quirky update, mine comes and goes but never for more than 30mins. I start my car and start driving, ORP isn't there, I switch to another App then back to Apps Menu and it's there. No other Apps has the same behavior.

Be patient, mine just came yesterday but went away within five minutes. Nine months of waiting down in five minutes. Tomorrow might be the day, LOL!
