Off Road Pages has arrived via OTA software update!

Took my JLUR to the closest dealer today for TSB 08-001-19, I now have the update and off road pages.

I was surprised they have GPS coordinates and elevation on them. Stopped for gas, and they disappeared. A short while later, they appeared, but i had to click on icons to get back to the page i was on, which is distracting from driving. I am a software engineer, and I never would code crap like that.

I also had the Jeep Wave oil change and tire rotation done, the whole thing took about two hours, the dealership was rather busy today.

So basically the TSB didn't fix the issue it just gave people the ability to put the buggy version of the ORP on?

Just a heads up to anyone needing to get the TSB done for the software update. I suggest calling the dealer and make sure they have the file downloaded to a flash drive before heading in.

It’s a 10GB file and appears like the server is being overloaded and taking a long time to download. My appointment was today... now I’m heading back again tomorrow after the download is complete. Maybe otherswill have better luck. At least the end is in sight. Lol

The TSB did update the software, which included the ORP. Because the update insists on showing unclickable icons until it "phones home" and one needs to click on several buttons to resume where they left off at, does mean the issue of the update not installing was fixed. It also means the update is, what I would call, buggy crap. I do like the ORP, and I am happy with the update.

Now I wonder, how do I get the Jeep icon on the nav map like I have seen in several you tube videos?

As of last week the dealerships can now download Offroad pages via a flash drive. This was just done to my vehicle that was an early release 2018 JLUR.

I got it done at the dealership about a week ago and the Offroad pages are now gone. Ive got an appt Thursday to get some other work done so i'll have them look then.

If the dealer has it on a flash drive already, plan on about 1.5 hours.
I recommend calling ahead to make sure they have it downloaded to flash drive. It can take a while since the server seems to get overloaded and takes a while.

100% agree. I finally got mine done but it took over 3 hours due to the file size. Ask them to get it downloaded to the flash drive before you get there.

Just drag the icon down with your finger to replace one of the other icons

I went to the dealership on Friday January 25th for the TSB to be installed. I was there for 7 hours and when they came to get me to say it was done there were no off road pages. They didn’t even check. Then they reinstalled the update and they were there. Three miles out of the dealership on my way home they disappeared and they are still not back today. WHAT IS THE DEAL???

They are still there, I have not had any issues since the USB install using the TSB number.
