Bought new in:

1993 - YJ, 4.0L, 5 spd. blue, black hard top, tan soft top Basic. Fun. No AC. Radio stolen about 5 times. Loved the vent windows! So did the thieves!
1995 - XJ, 4.0L, 5 spd. Sport, green. Basic. Fun. AC, but no power anything
1998 - XJ, 4.0L, Auto, Sport, steel blue. A few "extras", like power windows! Remember "Up Country" suspension? Special ordered.
2001 - TJ, 4.0L, 5 spd. Sahara. Green, tan hard and soft tops. No AC. Realized, AC was a must at this point in my life.. axle snapped, fixed under warranty.

My favorite is probably, suprisingly, the YJ. No frills. Liked the inline 6. I was younger. Just out of USN. At this time in my life, like the more refined JL... But combine age with vehicle and the YJ wins...

Easily 100 or more. I’ve been wearing them since I was a kid. Best fit... good colors... great price. I’ve always found them comfortable and hold up well over time.

- 1988 YJ, 4.2L, Auto - Carter BBD Carb, enough said!
- 1995 YJ, 4.0L HO, M5 - Broke both motor mounts after my brother-in-law encouraged me to jump it LOL.
- 2006 TJ Rubicon, Auto - Small, nimble, not many electronics to worry about. Probably my favourite Jeep.
- 2009 JK Rubicon, M6 - Wasn't much power wise, but it was fun to put it in 4L, pop the clutch, get out, and watch it climb a hill all on its own.
- 2012 JK Rubicon, Auto - Enjoyed the extra power from the 3.6L. Had it built the way I wanted. Sold it to buy the JL.
- 2019 JL Rubicon, 3.6L, 8 speed - Definitely enjoying all the refinements of the JL over previous generations.

Also Jeep guy here! Started with Grand cherokees until I finally got smart and bought my first wrangler in 2012. Now I have the bases covered with a Jeep SRT and JLUR in the driveway!
