I just installed a premium soft top on a 2024 JL. I am having trouble getting one of the latches to release from the soft top. If I release the driver’s side, the passenger won’t release and vice versa. I adjusted the bracket slightly to try and help. (Went in reverse from videos of the clamp being too loose). That did not help. We have it sitting out in heat and still are not able to release unless we pull down on the front bar of the soft top. Regretting moving that bracket slightly but I will just make adjustment if needed when hard top goes back on. Sorry if I am not using the correct terminology. Any help would be appreciated. Is this just a situation that I need to let it stretch? It took 3 people on 95 degree day to get the top to latch so I know it’s tight.
