Whether they’re needed aren’t the question... the big question here for today’s opinion poll is who wore it better? The Mopar grab handles (which I think sit too low unless you have short arms), or the aftermarket Velcro/550 Cord version... maybe you’ve thrown another one on your JL that you want to share? Or maybe you think oh sh*t handles have no place on your JL... interested in all opinions...

I don’t like the Velcro versions. I had those on the JK and it fit with the canvas covering on the bars.

That said, the OEM JL versions actually screw into the bar and don’t look so bulky. I’m more into that.

I tried Mopar and they hung too low. I went with the GPCA handles and they were perfect. They also tuck away when not needed.

I ultimately went with the GPCA handles too. I love them because they don’t interfere with the view and they fold up so you don’t hit you head on them...or they don’t swing and hit you. But between the two you have...I like the paracord.

Agreed. I would go with the paracord

The GPCA's are fantastic, and they make a matching set that attaches to the driver and passenger headrest for the rear seat as well.

Thanks
