With recent issues people are having with the springs in this lift I would hold off anyways.
Can you please elaborate? I am supposed to get my lift installed Monday. However, this post caught my eye.

Holy crooked spring Batman!!!!! I am not a lift specialist, but an engineer by trade. And, there is no way that this can function and perform adequately, much less safely. Look at the Mopar accessories Mojito Rubicon where the spring is even bowed on that one. Think I will hold off on this lift until either Mopar rectifies the situation, or inevitably better aftermarket lifts are available. For $1500, that is completely unacceptable.

Dealer is here in Tampa. Courtesy CJD on Adamo (Route 60).

Probably their parts dept just trying to hustle some online stuff and do volume with lower margin.

I wouldn't worry about it, even with grammatical errors.

Hey everyone,

I've found this website that is selling the Mopar 2" Lift Kit with FOX Shocks for $1,221.89.

https://www.oemmoparpart.com/oem-parts/mopar-suspensio-lift-77072430

I wonder if this site is legit or not. Did someone purchase anything from this site before?
Regardless of such, if you're worried, print it out and use it to price match from a place locally. I did the same thing and got my lift for roughly the same price at a dealership here. It wasn't off this site, but another, and it had the same "SUSPENSIO-LIFT" title.

Respectfully, I would hold off buying this lift regardless of price. I just searched the other threads, including one I started myself, and am shocked to see how many problems this lift has created. As another forum member mentioned:

"I talked to the Parts Manager at a local Phoenix area Jeep dealer this morning. While he didn’t know about the specific problem he did theorize this is why MOPAR has suspended sales of this kit until further notice for what he said was “product review/redesign”. He looked it up on his monitor and it said the product was not available at this time! Hmmm?"

I believe Mopar has received so many complaints that they now realize there is a fundamental design flaw in the 2" lift. The excessive bend in the coil springs can not be safe, and am so glad I found this out before my install scheduled for Monday. It's your money and please know I am not trying to tell you how to spend it, but as a fellow Jeep owner who cares about everyone's safety, including mine, I just wanted to make you aware of the issues to help you make an informed decision.

I don't disagree. Either way, whenever they get this sorted out, my point still stands. There are a ton of these seemingly questionable Mopar part sites that have fantastic deals that dealerships won't offer, but if they price match, use them and go for it. I saved just under $300 on my kit that I certainly hope does NOT have these spring problems.

Hopefully, it's a bad batch and not systemic. The dealership I bought mine from had a Jeep with the same kit installed sitting in their parking lot and everything looked solid on it. Nonetheless, the product has a warranty and we should be covered.

I couldn't agree more, and congrats on getting that smokin' good deal on the lift. My dealer is charging me $1350 plus install. It sounds like I can do a lot better on the lift price for sure.

I really hope it's a bad batch and maybe that's why Mopar has put a hold on the lift availability due to issues aforementioned. Has the dealer already installed your lift, and if so does your spring(s) exhibit the same bend/abnormality as others have experienced? I get it that the warranty should cover any potential problems, but as another member stated, his dealer contacted Mopar and their quick fix was to grind down one of the components that houses the springs. I am not a rocket scientist, but grinding on a part to make a part that should have fit without grinding sounds counterproductive and a cheap way out. Therefore, if I do have the kit installed, I am genuinely concerned as to what level of support Mopar has regarding issues that may occur.

$1,350 installed ain't bad at all, though.

I'm gonna knock it out myself in my garage. It looks like a fairly simple, straightforward install. I'm not sure if you'd be able to tell the springs will succumb to bending just by looking at them, but at first glance they look fine to me.

Yeah, that doesn't solve the issue. It just masks it. And that kind of answer doesn't surprise me at all. It's not really any different than when they were telling folks to replace the steering stabilizer on JKs that were getting the death wobble because the lack of shouldered bolts throughout the suspension were wallowing out holes for the trackbar and what not.

I did call the dealership I bought it from, though, and asked them if they've run into this. They told me they've installed about a half-dozen of these kits and haven't encountered any issues, but they wouldn't allow a Jeep to leave their dealership if they did since these are all being added to the purchase of their vehicles "out-the-door." So, that's kind of promising.
