Odyssey PC-1500 Battery

Has anyone installed an Odyssey PC-1500 battery in a JL? I have asked two resellers and they both said it won't work in the JL, but in comparing photos it looks to me like it would be ok.

Well, it works, mostly. My Odyssey I had bought for my JK is taller but not as long as the stock JL battery. To fit it I had to make a couple minor adjustments.
(1) I had to pull the power cable out of its wire clamps. As it’s a pretty stuff cable I am not worried about it being lose or anything. They could be adjusted or replaced to make them fit.
(2) One the forward side of the tray there a replaceable little plastic cap which to keep the battery from shifting forward. If someone were to make a replacement the right size the battery would fit perfectly. Without doing so the battery can potential shift forward or backwards. (See attached.) There is about a half inch of play on either side.
