I ordered a Bluetooth ODB2 adapter and read data via Torque app. This was OK. Yesterday, I got in the rig and got a message on the EVIC that the Aux Switches were deactivated because of battery charge. I've determined that the Bluetooth adapter is keeping the EVIC and Infotainment active causing a parasitic draw. Unplugging the adapter is unacceptable so I'm looking for another solution.

I'm aware of the Scangauge 2 and Banks iDash. Are there other options?

iDash is prettier than Scangauge but more expensive. Does the data it provides justify the price difference?

When life hands you melons, you may be dyslexic. JLWF hates ODB links to YT so you’ll have to c/p the link for the time machine to 1995. ht tp://youtu.be/h2zgB93KANE
Seriously though, it probably depends which information you want from your rig.

Ha. I know I typed "OBD".
I'm blaming autocorrect.

I have the Scan gauge 2 and it provides all the info that is not available on the dash for my diesel JLURD. I like the slim design as opposed to the Banks at a much lower cost.

Does it show DPF status, REGEN status, boost pressure, turbo temperature, DEF level, etc.?

In addition to Boost, all the following are available. DEF level, current gear and Transmission Temperature is already available on the dash.

I think this is what I want.

Any issues leaving it plugged in?

So it can show Regen status, soot load, etc. But I don't see boost pressure. That would be a neat one. I might try one of these.

Boost is included in the pre programed items.

My Jeep went into Regen today. I was watching because Soot Mass Load % (STM)was at 79 and manual says Regen starts at 80. And it did. No message on dash from Jeep. Scanguage did indicate "Regen active"On (RGN) . Drove for about 15 minutes and STM was at 8 when it finished. BST is Boost and TNR total number of regens completed. This started at 4099 for some reason but is does increment.
I think I was driving about 50 mph at the time of this pic.
