Ordered my 2 door Rubi on 6/1. Jeep chat let me know this morning that it had arrived at the dealership. They are closed on Sunday but I just drove by there and got to peek at my OB JL through the garage bay window. So close! Hopefully they will call me early tomorrow to come pick it up. So excited. It really is a beautiful color.

So the projects are continuing. First days I had the underneath coated with a back tar looking rust inhibitor. The insides of the doors and hood were done with a clear gel. It's a once and done process for the underneath. I heard aluminum does not rust but tell that to my Navigator tailgate. The cost to fix just that was more than the undercoat price. I put in sill plates to protect the step in. I also installed Roam rails but still need to install the LED's. The electric hoist in the garage was finished over the weekend. Now a wall rack to hold the doors.

Can't have this OB thread on the second page.

Picked up my Rubi yesterday. Ocean Blue JLU, manual trans, dual tops, loaded and a 3/4" spacers in front. Soft top going on tonight or tomorrow.

Does it look like it is perfectly level with the 3/4" front spacer? How does it feel to you?

On a total flat surface, yup looks very level. I would not have wanted more than the 3/4" but it looks good to me. Feel? Like how does is handle?

Yea, I feel a lot of rise in mine (stock suspension) when getting on the gas hard and a pretty hard drop from braking. maybe I'm driving a bit aggressively, but I'm wondering how a leveling kit could change that. For worse or better I'm not sure.

I've driven it about 30 miles so far, I'll have to get back to you on that one. Just got it last night.

Wbee, you have one sweet ride there! By chance are those the ACE rock rails? If so did you leave the factory rocks rails on? Any issues with the ACE rails make any contact with the factory rails? I was pleased with how easy they were to install, I have them on my Rubicon and could not be happier with them. Thankfully no broken body mount bolts

The are generic rails I bought on eBay, not sure I’ll keep them on. I needed something to protect the body panels from door dings and give my little guys a step. They attach like ACE and mount to the body mounts. Much more difficult to install than I planned. They body bolts were difficult to remove. Unfortunately they would not fit the factory rails underneath like I was hoping. Maybe I’ll go to ACE.
