I just ordered this console cover. Taking a chance, I hope it's not too cheesy. Looking to add a little red pop to the dull interior.

So I just ordered this on Amazon for 18 bucks Prime so it's not coming from China.

So I just got this yesterday 18.00 for a flimsy piece of plastic that has double stick tape on the back. I removed the tape and discovered that three places did not have tape on it. Just worthless! I placed it back in the envelope and returned it to Amazon

tacky plus the tape is impossible to cut and put on

I hope its ok! The one O ordered was just the one that goes over the cup holders and it was JUNK I returned it the same day from Amazon

I hope one day a manufacturer tries to match the interior red that comes from factory which is more of a metallic red in matte finish.

The console cover arrived Saturday from China. I am pleased that the plastic is slightly heavier than I expected. I was thinking it would be a very thin skin. Still not worth $42 IMO, but that’s on me! It’s painted nicely, matches Firecracker red very closely. Double stick tape covers all the inside surfaces. All edges are finished well, and roll inwards preventing any sharp edges when finally installed. I laid it in place temporarily, the coverage seems even around all the components of the console. It also comes with a cover for the little access door at the front of the console. There are alcohol wipes to clean the mounting surfaces.

Stoowie, I’m thinking the cover that you tried will not stick easily because the cup holder area is a rubbery plastic. I won’t be installing mine for a couple of weeks as I’m on the mend from recent surgery. I think it will lay in nicely, maybe with some blue tape and pressure to hold it in place so everything is even. I think this will do what I want, which was to add some pop to an otherwise dull black interior. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Is the keyhole in the center ( JK ) or on the side ( JL )?
