My wife’s Grand Cherokee did the same. She was always putting hand cream on and hand sanitizer. Figure one of these did this. My friends Lexis did the same thing. Same reason. It fades the white lettering.

I realize that true OCD can't simply be completely rationalized away--although logic can help. I also realize that many posters here have OCD that's manageable and often focused on very limited aspects of life, as well as posting here in mostly humor. That said:

This is a tree bench. It's installed ever too slightly too much to the right, not itself asymmetrical to the naked eye. Centering it would have been possible, but not without cutting a major root system to the very tree it adorns, and somehow, compromising a tree's health under the guise of trying to making it more presentable with a bench, appeared counterintuitive.

This is nature and life: full of symmetry, much of which isn't perfect, and imperfect asymmetry. Make peace with it. Measure something close enough and imperfections are found.

What that person was pointing out was that there are two different symbols, not that there are two buttons that do the same thing right next to each other.
