My wife and I have bought (new and used) 13 Jeeps from the 1980's until now. You can see our 35 year Jeep adventure in my signature. I KNOW we are no where near the max, but who has owned what Jeeps and how many?

Since people have been discussing who is really a Jeepster, I wonder if this is a trick question, but I will bite.

My wife and I bought a Jeep Wrangler, five-speed, four cylinder ragtop brand new in 1999.

This Jeep is still running, although it seems to be in the shop a lot more than our 1991 Camry (which we also bought new).

We keep the Camry in ther garage and park the Jeep on the street, because it is fun to drive. We don't take it out of town. We don't drive off-road (except on occasion, if my wife is not in the Jeep with me, and I take what I call "a Jeep shortcut").

We have been thinking about either buying a used Jeep that is in better shape of a new Jeep, but we cant find anything (Jeep or suv) that is as much fun to drive as our Jeep.

We have seriously considered buying a neighbors 1976 Jeep, but it lacks a step and has fixed front seats and a big steering wheel that makes it hard for someone of my girth and age to drive.

Still, I can't bring myself to sell my Jeep, and I only have enough garage space for one car--the Camry.

Does make me less of a Jeepster?

Sometimes I wish that I could go back to being a bicycle-riding pedestrian (without a car), which I was when I met my wife in 1973.

Still I think I will drive my Wrangler until one of us dies.

I feel a similar attachment to my wife (we married in 1975), but I have learned that I need to be faithful to her--only one women in my head or in my bed.

My Jeep and my Camry are less demanding. They can share me and the Camry is not jealous that the Jeep has all the fun, while the Camry goes grocery shopping.

4 Jeeps, all daily drivers. Only had two years since 1990 that a jeep was not my daily driver.
If you want to add my dad (DJ-5) and younger brothers YJ, JK's and JKUL we can make 9. Dad's old postal jeep in the 80's kind of started it for all of us. All jeeps should have doors that slide and lock back.
