Bought my first Cherokee in 2000 and been driving them ever since. There was a point in time where old Jeeps were cheap and not sought after like they are today. You couldn't give an old Cherokee/Grand Cherokee away at one point, so I could pick them up for next to nothing. I owned five Jeeps at once and that was too much to manage given a cheap vehicle purchased usually means it was cheaply maintained and needing TLC. Those were the days lol.To match this number I’d need a really big garage/shop, and a LOt more money.
Or I’d have to live to be 180 years old, or learn to get less attached to my jeeps. I’m 47 years into jeeping and I’m only at 8 real jeeps (plus the others I listed earlier). It’s an addiction for me, but I’m too tall for the newest generation, so that should save me.
I’ve had 6 wranglers over the past 14 years and currently in a JTMy wife and I have bought (new and used) 13 Jeeps from the 1980's until now. You can see our 35 year Jeep adventure in my signature. I KNOW we are no where near the max, but who has owned what Jeeps and how many?
