While washing my week old JL for the first time my neighbor next door came over to take a look.
But he caught me off guard by asking what I paid...Its not like asking my wife's bra size but I don't think I would ask....and especially since he's not in the market.

Ideas?

1. "Next to nothing. Go talk to ___________ at ABC motors. They've got a special sale right now. "

2. "Way too much. I never shoulda done this."

I’ve been asked several times. I just say “invoice”, “below invoice”, “sticker price”, or “got a great deal”, something like that. I haven’t given actual numbers

Now, if your rig is all custom, and her bra size is the same.....well, that is pretty forward. Your days are numbered. He wants your jeep and gal.

I usually make jokes in those situations as long as you guys are on friendly terms.

"I paid enough they wouldn't report it stolen."

Probably the way I'd actually go is, "How're you and your family doin'? Y'all need anything?"

I should have mentioned his wife was admiring it yesterday and told me she always wanted one.
He caught me of guard...but fun to him is playing the harmonica in his back yard and a Honda.
I told him my below MSRP price so he could go tell his wife.
It must kill him the retired bus driver has nicer wheels than him.
